The Flo-Dry Biofilter is an economic and environmentally friendly way to remove odour from waste gases. Costly scrubbing processes using chemicals or incineration are no longer needed. The Biofilter is a highly efficient, completely natural and passive way to remove odour from waste gases. It takes up a small area of unused land within your site complex and once installed practically runs itself.

ECONOMICAL TO BUILD AND OPERATE
Biofilters can be built almost anywhere from spare bare land, car parks, vacant buildings or roof tops. Operation requires minimal attention and there is no additional energy required except for the fan to both collect the waste gases and distribute them through the Biofilter.

PASSIVE AND CONTINUALLY ACTIVE
Once waste gases have been introduced to the Biofilter it naturally and passively goes to work and never stops. There are no moving parts and minimal maintenance.

TESTED AND PROVEN TECHNOLOGY
Flo-Dry Biofilters have been tested and proven to be economic and effective on traditionally odours industries such as animal and fish by-product plants, as well as sewage treatment.

HOW THE BIOFILTER WORKS
Biofilters work by allowing naturally occurring and developed bacteria to treat the waste gases. This is done by passing the collected waste gases through a network of ducting designed for minimal pressure loss and filtering them in the composite layers of active media before discharging to atmosphere.
